Yet another rant about guru types in general, super affiliate guru’s and a definition of guru.
According to dictionary. com the following is how they describe anyone as a guru.
1. Hinduism. a preceptor giving personal religious instruction.
2. an intellectual or spiritual guide or leader.
3. any person who counsels or advises; mentor: The elder senator was her political guru.
4. a leader in a particular field: the city’s cultural gurus.
There are lots of different types of gurus on the net. Most aren’t worth a damn and have a highly undeserved reputation. Heh, I’m more of a guru than most of them. Like them, I want to make some money but unlike them money isn’t my first priority.
There are marketing gurus, MOF an seo web guru is what people used to think I was. Among other things I could also be a super affiliate guru if I wished to be.
Unfortunately for me I’m more interested in telling you what I know as truth rather than scamming you to make a few bucks. I’ve always been this way. I know most of you won’t do what I suggest anyway because it takes work so I’m not afraid to tell you exactly how I do things, and even do it for free.
Most website gurus and SE positioning guru’s don’t give a damn about you. They don’t care whether you make money or not. They don’t care if you get good SE positions or not.
You can look at this page as my little rant for this site. I was checking my email this morning when yet again I get recommendations from guru’s on what software to buy, which programs to join, etc.
I’m sure you get some of the same stuff. I have a list of about 10 newsletters I’m signed up for and a few other little things. About 15 different “Guru’s” emailing me on topics I’m interested in.
It would be nice if they actually emailed me or you about those topics but no, that’s not what they are about. You see, the gurus all have a club. A big club that they all belong to. Me and you? We’re to small to belong to their club. Want to know more click the links and read the rest.
